Same teacher, same experience. Slide across the document and see the difference: vague sentences become concrete results, and a bare-bones file becomes something that stands out.

Weak resume: a bare-bones document with a vague profile and duties with no results

What users say about their new resume

5/5review translated

β€œIt was nice that I could upload my old CV, so I didn't have to type in all the details again. The system took it over well. On top of that, I can adjust the layout completely to my own taste.”

β€œThis tool is perfect! I quickly got my old CV looking new again, received a matching cover letter and practical tips for the conversation with my future boss. Really recommend it.”

β€œHandy tool if you don't really know where to start. My CV became clearer and the job vacancy analysis gave me some good insights. I also found the salary advice interesting. Sometimes I thought the texts were a bit too formal and I adjusted them myself a bit. But as a basis, this is really a nice tool.”

β€œThe cover letter writer in particular surprised me. I'd always struggled to write a good letter myself. CV-Refresher used my experience and the job vacancy in a really logical way. In the end I was invited for an interview. The whole combination of CV, letter and salary advice makes it really complete.”

β€œI was applying for jobs again after a few years and didn't really know what my CV should look like these days. CV-Refresher gave me a clear starting point straight away. The combination with the job posting analysis works well. My CV became much more specific and I ended up getting invited for an interview. Very positive about the whole experience.”

β€œCV-Refresher helped me present my work experience much better. Some of the phrasing wasn't quite my own style, so I adjusted that. But content-wise the suggestions were strong. I especially found the analysis of my salary position valuable. I would definitely use the tool again for a future job application.”

β€œReally handy when you want to apply for a specific job. What I liked most was that the tool didn't just churn out a standard cover letter, but actually looked at my CV and the job listing. That made the letter feel much more personal. The salary report also gave me more confidence during the interview.”

β€œI've recently moved to the Netherlands and wanted to adapt my Polish CV for Dutch employers. CV-Refresher was particularly helpful with the structure and highlighting my relevant experience. The cover letter was also a good starting point. I still had to check some Dutch phrasing, but it saved me a lot of time.”

Built with privacy in mind

A resume is full of personal information, and we treat it that way: with the utmost care. Your resume lives in your own browser, and you don't need an account. We only use your information to create your document. It stays where it belongs: with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What tools are available, and what do they do?

Four. Two of them create a resume: with Upload your resume you have your existing resume read and reformatted, and with Build your resume you fill one in yourself in four steps. There's also Write your cover letter, which writes a letter that matches your resume and the job posting, or reviews a letter you already have. And Negotiate your salary shows you whether there's room to negotiate your salary, and how to approach it. You don't need to choose anything in advance: each tool works independently and you pay per result.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once for what you order. There is no recurring payment and no automatic renewal. That's also stated in our terms and conditions, so we can't quietly go back on it.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There's no registration and no password. After you place your order, you get a personal link to access your credits.

Can I preview my resume or cover letter before I pay?

Yes, with the resume tool and cover letter tool, you can see the full, formatted result on your screen for free and edit it right away. You only pay to download it. With the free resume builder, you get one basic resume as a PDF at no cost; extra options for color, a photo, and other templates are paid features. The salary negotiation tool works differently: we generate the advice right after payment, since creating the advice itself is the paid service. There's no separate download step.

What is an ATS, and do your resumes work with it?

An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is software that automatically scans and sorts job applications. Many large employers use it, and in the United States it's almost always the first step. This kind of system doesn't read formatting, only text, and gets confused by columns, sidebars, and a name placed in a colored bar. That's why we tested our templates ourselves: we turn them into a PDF and read them back the way an ATS does. The templates that come out well, 15 out of 38, carry the label ATS-friendly. You can filter for this on the templates page.
